RO e-Transport – UIT codes pulled automatically from the ANAF systems and positions sent in real time
For shipments that need a UIT code, Romanian law requires the vehicle's position to be sent to ANAF, the national tax authority, in real time along the whole declared route. FleetBox pulls the UIT codes from ANAF on its own and sends positions through the GPS unit already fitted in the truck.
- UIT codes are pulled automatically from the ANAF systems, with no manual entry
- No app on the driver's phone and no flat phone batteries on the road
- Transmission starts and stops with each shipment's UIT code
- Dispatch is alerted if transmission stops
- A transmission log for every UIT code, ready for an inspection
Why it matters: failing to transmit GPS data can cost a company a fine of up to 100,000 lei, and repeat breaches can lead to part of the goods being confiscated.
- 1You declare the shipment in e-Transport
ANAF issues the UIT code, as usual.
UIT · 36 characters · example - 2FleetBox picks up the UIT code
Codes are pulled straight from the ANAF systems and matched to the declared truck. Nobody copies them by hand.
- 3FleetBox sends positions to ANAF
Automatically, for the whole trip, until delivery or until the truck leaves Romania.
- 4You track it in the app
Which codes are active, what was sent and when.
